Greenock’s Festive Fun Day – Business Update

This will be in place of the usual Christmas Tree Light up event in Cathcart Square, Greenock, which will not take place in 2025 due to the start of Levelling Up works.

The Greenock Festive Fun Day will offer an afternoon of street theatre, magical characters, light projections, music, entertainment, displays and workshops along the length of the street. The entertainment programme will be FREE with the aim of driving footfall into the town centre and encouraging local spend, while providing a seasonal day out for all the family.

Ahead of the festive event, we would like to invite local businesses to a pre event briefing with an update from the event managers on the day's festive plans. We also have Gary Ennis from NS Design who will offer some practical advice on how to maximise the opportunities on the day.

The Business Gateway Inverclyde team and Inverclyde Councils Business Development Team will also be at the event to answer any questions on what business support is available to local businesses.

There will also be an opportunity to share your views on how Greenock can make the most of its UK Government funding award through the ‘Pride in Places’ programme.
