Wood carver sharpens digital skills to showcase popular art

Thanks to expert business support an Aberdeenshire woodcarver has sharpened his digital and marketing skills to spread awareness of his gallery’s latest installation project.

About the business

In 2015, skilled woodcarver Robert Lawrence set up Ingrained Culture with a goal of creating a variety of wood art installations including garden sculptures, memorials and time markers. Fast-forward three years and Robert has achieved this and more.

Each installation is made from 100% sustainable British grown wood and over the past three years, Robert has showcased his work in exhibitions in London and New York.

Robert’s latest art installation - ‘COVID Clouds’, is a series of symbols carved in the shape of clouds. The symbols are suspended from trees and engrained with provoking messages for passers-by to reflect on the COVID-19 pandemic.
