About the business

In 2015, skilled woodcarver Robert Lawrence set up Ingrained Culture with a goal of creating a variety of wood art installations including garden sculptures, memorials and time markers. Fast-forward three years and Robert has achieved this and more.

Each installation is made from 100% sustainable British grown wood and over the past three years, Robert has showcased his work in exhibitions in London and New York.

Robert’s latest art installation - ‘COVID Clouds’, is a series of symbols carved in the shape of clouds. The symbols are suspended from trees and engrained with provoking messages for passers-by to reflect on the COVID-19 pandemic.
