After establishing MidgieBite Media in 2017, Gavin initially received advice from Business Gateway about potential funding opportunities, including a successful loan application to the Prince’s Trust for over £4000 which covered the initial costs associated with setting up a business.

Gavin recently raised money for the Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH) with the release of a short film that explores the challenges of coping with depression at Christmas. ‘Cold’, which premiered in Kirkcaldy on Friday 13 December.
