Energy consultancy expands team with support from Business Gateway 

About the business

Established in 2009, Eyebright Ltd is a utilities management firm based in Glasgow, which builds energy solutions services such as implementing carbon reporting support and guidance on green procurement.  

How Business Gateway has helped

Founder Jamie Newall has worked with Business Gateway since it’s initial launch in 2009, and through the service, has accessed many different support programmes as the business has become a UK-wide business.   

Most recently, Jamie worked with Business Gateway to scale up and invest in its digital and software platforms and received support on his growth strategy, as well as Intellectual Property support.    

Jamie was also able to receive funding through Glasgow City Council, after Business Gateway facilitated an introduction to members of the Glasgow Business Support team.   

Following this package of support, Jamie has bolstered his senior leadership by appointing a Non-Executive Director and Sales Director, both of whom will be responsible for driving further growth.
