From skipper to stardom, Jimmy left school to become a fisherman in 1976, went on to buy his trawler named ‘Amity’ in 1986 before starting his own business, Amity Fish Company. Since, Jimmy and his team have featured in BBC TV documentary series ‘Trawlermen’.

With over 40 years’ industry experience, it is safe to say Jimmy knows a thing or two about fish. At our event, he will discuss his business journey to date, covering the highlights and challenges faced along the way. He will touch on the areas of the fishing industry he has been involved in and round off with an audience Q&A.
