Strategy and Planning: An Introduction - webinar

What to expect from this event

This workshop gives a practical introduction to developing a strategy and business plan for your business.

If you prepared a business plan as part of a start-up funding application and it now lies at the bottom of a filing cabinet, this workshop will help you to bring that document to life.

Maybe you want to take your business to the next stage but are struggling to get your thinking clear on how to go about it.

Or, perhaps you feel that terms like strategy, vision and business planning have little to do with the day to day challenges facing your business.

This workshop will strip away the jargon and show how an effective planning process will help you to use your time more effectively to meet these challenges and to realise your ambitions.

The workshop will take a practical look at

  • What we mean by terms like strategy, planning, mission, vision
  • What a planning process might look like for your business
  • How planning helps us to clarify priorities and make better informed choices around target markets, product offerings, staffing and other resource needs
  • How planning helps us to anticipate and prepare for the uncertainties of business life.
