This is a practical workshop to help you understand and complete your self-assessment tax return.
It will be of benefit to newly self-employed people who are required to submit a self-assessment return for the first time, and for any self-employed people who have previously completed a paper self-assessment return and have missed the 31st October deadline..
Find out how to register your business with HMRC, key dates and what your responsibilities are. You will also find out some basic information about allowable expenses, mileage and capital allowance, as well as National Insurance contributions.
