Management Masterclass - Working With Your Team

Business Gateway is pleased to offer a programme of Management Masterclasses to local employers. These classes are aimed at individuals taking their first steps into management or supervisory roles, and are intended to provide attendees with the confidence and techniques with which to become productive managers.

Working With Your Team - This unit will enable participants to recognise their own strengths and weaknesses as a team member, to understand how this impacts on the organisation and performance of their team, and develop the necessary skills to work effectively in teams. Among the areas covered will be:

• Characteristics of a team
• Your team role
• Different team member styles
• Team leadership skills

The Management Masterclasses are split up into seven units covering different management requirements and techniques - those interested can sign up for the whole series or pick the unit that suits them best. Other units in the series are:
