Join Caroline Warburton from Visit Scotland and Colin Wilkinson from the Scottish Licensed Trading Association to get a statistical insight into the impact of COVID-19 on the food and drink sector.

What to expect from this webinar

Join Caroline Warburton from Visit Scotland and Colin Wilkinson from the Scottish Licensed Trading Association to get a statistical insight into the impact of COVID-19 on the food and drink sector, both nationally and locally. They will also talk about what each of their respective organisations is doing to support hospitality business in Tayside and the services they offer more generally.

Caroline Warburton is VisitScotland’s Regional Leadership Director for the East of Scotland. Caroline’s role is to oversee VisitScotland’s strategic engagement and partnerships for the East region. She has direct responsibility for Fife, Perth & Kinross, Dundee and Angus. VisitScotland is the national tourism board and is working to support the tourism sector during this challenging time through business advice and support, consumer and industry insights and marketing.

Although Colin Wilkinson’s working career began in Civil Engineering, as a technician, on leaving School, the threat of redundancy led him to accept what was to have been a temporary “stop-gap” position with The Scottish Licensed Trade Association. However, nearly 38 years later, having served his “long apprenticeship” as Assistant Secretary, Colin was promoted to the position of Secretary in 1999. With the recent restructuring of the Association Colin now holds the position of Managing Director.
