Stevie Baxter, Derek Soutar and Lianne Carr-Wyllie will share stories from their careers, but also give us an insight into how these experiences equipped them with transferrable skills they now use to run successful organisations.

Stevie Baxter is the owner of The Sporting Pursuit, a leading consultancy that uses insights from the world of sport to demonstrate how high performing teams and high performing individuals succeed. Stevie uses his 25 years of international experience to inspire and empower businesses owners, teachers, students and health & wellbeing practitioners, helping them become a high performing individuals and team members.

Derek Soutar - known to many as ‘Soapy’ - is a former professional footballer who had a career spanning 17 years and played with both Dundee FC and Aberdeen FC. He now runs his own successful goalkeeping academy, and has experience in oil & gas, sales and the licensed trade.

Lianne Carr-Wyllie is an Enterprise Manager at Launch It Dundee, a charity helping young people to start and grow businesses. The Centre is in the heart of the city and has space to accommodate up to 20 businesses and offers a 2 year programme which includes one to one business support, access to workshops, mentoring and affordable office space.
