Does money buy you performance for Tourism?

This workshop will explore why people work and what motivates them. It will also look at some types of performance review found in workplaces, and consider the benefits and/ or challenges around these from a behavioural perspective. Empirical evidence, motivational theory, behavioural insights and case studies will be drawn from to provide awareness and understanding of these issues, and guide discussion.

This workshop is aimed at tourism businesses and will draw upon examples from the tourism industry and designed to be interactive, giving the opportunity for participants to share experiences, opinion and ideas related to this fascinating area of people management and development.
