Magician turned entrepreneur launches Scotland's newest wedding entertainment agency
Cameron Young, the award‑winning magician who captivated millions on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent, is channelling his showmanship into a new business venture that’s already making waves across Scotland’s wedding industry.
Based in Dunfermline, Cameron has been performing since childhood, steadily building a reputation as one of the country’s leading entertainers. His career has taken him from corporate stages to hundreds of wedding venues, earning him accolades including UK Wedding Magician of the Year and, most recently, Scotland’s Wedding Entertainer of the Year 2026.
With 280 weddings already booked this year and next year’s calendar close to full, Cameron recognised a growing opportunity. The result is his latest Agency, launched in January.
The agency brings together a curated roster of performers, from musicians and DJs to singers, caricaturists and fellow magicians, designed to offer couples a seamless, one‑stop shop for their big day.
“I like to think I can bring the magic, literally, to events,” Cameron explained, “Whether it’s being the charismatic host who keeps the night flowing, delivering jaw‑dropping walkaround magic during networking drinks, or ending the evening with a show‑stopping stage performance. People are always going to get married, so it made sense to create a one‑stop shop for wedding entertainment. I’ve been lucky with the network of contacts I’ve made over the years, so I can already offer a wide selection of entertainment for clients.”
Behind the scenes, Cameron has also benefited from local business support. Working with Business Gateway Fife, he received guidance from business adviser Alasdair Busby, who helped secure an SME grant for R&D and Innovation, funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. The funding supported theatre hire, digital recordings and props for a TV pilot, investments that strengthen both his personal brand and the new agency’s offering.
