The clinic, which provides chiropractic consultations, examinations and care for people of all ages, focuses on improving function within the neuro-musculoskeletal system. While chiropractic is often associated with back and neck pain, the team takes a broader approach, helping patients improve movement, balance, adaptability and overall function.

Owner Ryan Copleston took over Dunfermline Chiropractic Clinic in February 2022, relocating the business from Appin Crescent and overseeing significant growth. The clinic has expanded from a one-chiropractor operation to a team of five chiropractors and five chiropractic assistants.

A key part of the clinic’s development has been investment in technology that supports more objective, measurable care. In addition to its on-site X-ray facilities, the business has introduced a new CLA INSiGHT scanner, enabling practitioners to gather information that supports assessment, tracks changes over time and enhances patient understanding of their care.

“We want to move beyond a purely pain-based, symptom-led and reactive model of care,” Ryan explained. “The new technology gives us a more objective way to assess and monitor aspects of nervous system-related function, helping patients better understand their progress.”

The investment was supported by Business Gateway Fife adviser Karen Cassells, who provided funding guidance and access to the Fife Investment Fund.  Karen said, “The funding has enabled the business to invest in technology that supports a more proactive, function-focused approach to care while strengthening its long-term growth ambitions.”

The investment is also supporting the recruitment of an additional chiropractor and increasing patient capacity, helping position Dunfermline Chiropractic as a progressive provider of chiropractic care in Fife while driving future growth and patient engagement.
