The workshop will help sole traders:
- Be aware of what financial records you are legally obliged to keep for your business
- Understand the need to record business income and expenditure
- To ensure that you keep evidence and accurately report your income and expenses
- To ensure you claim the correct amount of business expenses
- Give you confidence about submitting your tax return
- Give you the most up-to-date information on Making Tax Digital and what you need to do if you aren't using MTD compatible software to complete your tax return.
There will also be information on additional services from Business Gateway and details of other workshops which may be appropriate for you.
Please note: This session is for businesses based in City of Edinburgh, East Lothian, Midlothian and West Lothian only. You will only receive materials from the workshop if you attend.
