Try something a little different with this fun and interactive business event at Aberdeen’s only dedicated table tennis facility, recently opened on South College Street.
Owner Murhad Hussain will share the story behind the business, from growing up in London and becoming a fan of table tennis to wanting to give children in Aberdeen the same opportunity to discover the sport.
Murhad has competed in the Commonwealth Games and is on the International Olympic Committee panel of Young Leaders, a 25 strong group worldwide. He is the only UK representative.
You’ll hear about his journey, his ambitions for the facility and what inspired him to bring dedicated table tennis to Aberdeen. There’ll also be a chance to ask questions and find out more about what it takes to turn an idea into a business.
Then it’s time to get involved. Have a go on the tables, meet other attendees and take part in some informal networking. We may even make it into a bit of friendly speed networking, with short games before switching partners and meeting someone new.
Murhad is planning on bringing televised table tennis tournaments to his premises, get the chance to try them out now whilst you still can.
No table tennis expertise is needed. Just come along, have a go and make some new connections.
