A Stirling business has seen its turnover increase by 80% after securing new contracts with the likes of Sodexo and the Scottish Fire & Rescue Service in the past 12 months.

Perfect Service Solutions, which has been helped by Business Gateway Stirling, has also just secured a three year deal worth £1m with a global corporation, which helped its turnover hit £650k this month (March).

The family run firm, which specialises in ductwork cleaning, deep cleaning and provides ventilation solutions to the food and facilities management industry, also added Baxter Storey and Bannatynes to its growing client list last year.

Simone Hart Sibbald, Managing Director, said: “Securing these new contracts, and the £1m three year deal in January this year, denotes major success for us. It’s a huge testimony to the tenacity, professionalism and progressive outlook of our people. Tendering for contracts is a rigorous process and it was thanks to funding secured with the help of Business Gateway Stirling that we were able to bring in a specialist who advised us on our tender process, and whose input helped us win a number of contracts last year - including the £1m deal with the global corporation company.

“We have a long history of working with Business Gateway. Our advisers have helped us secure a raft of funding – from an employment grant that went towards hiring our first employee to a grant that helped us hire a business development manager. They have gone above and beyond, which has helped us expand from a three man operation into an employer of 30. If it wasn’t for their support, contacts, networking opportunities and signposting to appropriate funding opportunities I wouldn’t have been able to fulfil my vision so confidently.”

Jayne Stirling, Business Gateway, said: “From day one Perfect Service Solutions has used our advice and expertise to help it grow. As well as general advice and signposting to funding and outside organisations, a strategy workshop three years ago gave Simone the confidence she needed to make fundamental changes that have helped her turn the business, which has won and been shortlisted for numerous awards, into the leading ductwork cleaning company in Scotland and one of the leading in the UK.”
