Support is the perfect makeover for Inverclyde personal stylist

About the business

An Inverclyde-based personal styling business has used Business Gateway’s one-to-one support and free workshops to support a highly successful launch.

Founded by Amy Beckett in May 2019, Trend Trip is a personal styling service offering bespoke styling sessions, wardrobe edits and virtual appointments. After wanting to pursue a career in fashion for many years, Amy started her own business to turn her dream into a reality.

Since launching in May, Trend Trip has enjoyed an encouraging start, attracting a wide range of clients. After investing in training, Amy has worked with The Stylist London, delivered professional bra fitting at Selfridges and tailoring at Saville Row.

More recently, Amy has worked on a campaign photo shoot with luxury cashmere producer Begg & Co. She will also be styling the Head of Business for Fake Bake ahead of the National Television Awards.

How Business Gateway has helped

In order to help launch her new business, Amy approached Business Gateway Inverclyde for support. Alongside one-to-one business sessions with an adviser, Business Gateway helped Amy to develop her business plan, set objectives and identify potential sources of funding. Amy also attended a free workshop to learn about using social media for business.
