Clothing brand revamps its online ordering system following Digital Skills support

FINDRA Clothing made the most of funding accessed through DigitalBoost, Business Gateway’s national upskilling programme, to improve their stock management system and ensure their customers enjoy the best online ordering experience.

Unique in its offering, FINDRA Clothing is an outdoor clothing brand that designs stylish, versatile and sustainable outdoor clothing using predominantly natural or recycled raw materials.

How Business Gateway has helped

After launching in 2014, FINDRA Clothing received a range of Business Gateway’s dedicated start-up support including 1:1 advice from a Business Gateway adviser.

Through the service, founder Alex Feechan was able to access guidance and support about timescales for launching her business. She was also signposted to funding available through Scottish Enterprise, accessing their ‘By Design’ grant.

Most recently, FINDRA was signposted to South of Scotland Enterprise and was able to access a grant through DigitalBoost, Business Gateway’s digital upskilling programme. This grant has enabled FINDRA to re-platform their website as well as review their ordering processing, CRM and stock management systems, ensuring a more efficient and smoother customer experience for each and every order.

Alex said, “We knew that our website looked good, and showcased our range of products in a stylish way, but we were aware that we needed to improve what was going on behind the scenes. We are serious about being an effective, efficient e-commerce business and want our customers to have the best experience when ordering from us, so we looked for funding that would let us invest in our platforms.
