This is an exciting time but it can also be busy and stressful and you'll want to ensure that you've not missed anything important.
Each year, we assist over 800 new businesses to successfully launch Tayside and during this phase we'll assist you to complete your start-up checklist, review your Business Plan, and ensure that you are aware of any local funding initiatives. If you haven't contacted us before, this is your last chance to ensure that you are allocated your own fully funded Business Advisor to support your start-up and growth stages of your new venture.
Business Start Up Advice and Information
Recently started to trade? Immediately following start up we'll help you to ensure that you've completed your "start-up checklist", and that you're aware of any additional support available.
For example, if you plan to take on staff or register for VAT within your first 18 months of trading and are a newly registered business you're eligible for 1-2-1 local advisory support to assist you and your business development plans for the entire 18 month period - at no cost.
Grants, Loans and Start Up Business Funding
Depending on circumstance and need there may be avenues of financial support available to you. These include the Start Up Loan Fund and Princes Trust Youth Business Scotland. Contact the Business Gateway Tayside team to discuss your business start-up situation.
