What to expect from this event

Business Gateway is pleased to offer a programme of Management Masterclasses to local employers. These classes are aimed at individuals taking their first steps into management or supervisory roles, and are intended to provide attendees with the confidence and techniques with which to become productive managers.

Delivering the Service - The various duties of managing a service can be broken down into daily duties and big tasks, and this unit can help you apply practices which will allow you to plan and prioritise these while maintaining quality customer care:

  • Managing a service
  • The manager’s job – daily stuff + big tasks
  • Keeping track – diary management
  • Planning
  • Customer service

The Management Masterclasses are split up into seven units covering different management requirements and techniques - those interested can sign up for the whole series or pick the unit that suits them best. Other units in the series are:

  • Planning Ahead / Time Management - 2 March 2019
  • Performance Management - 10 March 2019
  • Change Management - 17 March 2019
  • Roles and Responsibilities - 17 April 2019
  • Managing People - 24 April 2019
