What to expect from this event

Organised by The Forth Valley International Trade Partnership (Business Gateway, Forth Valley Chamber of Commerce and Scottish Enterprise/SDI), this event will be of interest to businesses who are either currently exporting, or considering exporting in the future. Our Chair, Ewan Ramsay, will provide an update on Brexit, and keynote speakers Karen Somerville of Angels’ Share Glass and Craig MacCallum of Developing IT will give insights into their exporting challenges and issues.

Craig MacCallum has been managing director of Developing IT since 2004. He is an eCommerce subject matter expert and has driven the launch of over 350 stores across a broad range of eCommerce platforms, with a specific focus on eBay, Amazon, and Wish.com.

Karen Somerville is the Managing Director of Angels’ Share Glass, a family-run business based in Bridge of Allan, near Stirling. Angels’ Share Glass is a specialised glass manufacturing business who has taken an artisan craft to commercial scale. Producing glassware for the whisky and spirits industry and also the giftware market. Karen & her team export their handblown glass all over the world. Angels’ Share Glass operates a wholesale and ecommerce business they also offer technical consultation.
