Jane is an Occupational Health and Safety Advisor with Healthy Working Lives and the NHS Tayside Workplace Programme (a free and confidential advisory service). She is a qualified Occupational Health Nurse with a MSc in Occupational and Environmental Health and Safety Management and has over 27 years’ experience. Her role is to advise SME’s regardless of business sector, on all aspects of their Occupational Health and Safety. To date she’s advised many hundreds of local businesses and organisations throughout Tayside, helping them with their occupational health and safety management systems including help with risk assessments, policy development and attendance management. She’s helped many businesses during the pandemic, ensuring they have the correct measures and procedures in place to operate safely and has developed interactive sector specific and bespoke COVID-19 risk assessment documents for her clients.

Jane has developed many other free resources to help businesses manage their occupational health and safety and has helped businesses achieve accreditation for safety appraisal systems in procurement.
