Coronavirus funding support and grant list - Daily update

A list of support that is available has been created and can be downloaded as a PDF. It Is being updated daily so please check back for further updates. It includes information on all business funding and grants made available to help businesses during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

Newly Self-Employed Hardship Fund

Grants of £2,000 are available through Scottish Local Authorities for the newly self-employed (became self-employed since April 2019) who are excluded from the UK Gov scheme.

Business Support Fund

Scottish Government Coronavirus Business Support Fund

Grant support is now available to help businesses with the coronavirus/Covid-19 impact. You can apply via your Local Authority. The one-off grants are designed to help protect jobs, prevent business closures and promote economic recovery.

Bounce Back Loans 1

Bounce Back Loan Scheme announced by UK Government.

The UK Government has announced The Bounce Back Loans scheme which will provide up to £50,000 in loans for small businesses with a 100% government-backed guarantee for lenders.

Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme 4

Claim for wages through the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme

If you have put staff on furlough because of COVID-19 you can claim for 80% of your employee’s wages plus any employer National Insurance and pension contributions.

Self Employment

UK Self-employment Income Support Scheme

The UK Government has announced support if you’re self-employed or a member of a partnership and have lost income due to the coronavirus. This scheme will allow you to claim a taxable grant worth 80% of your trading profits up to a maximum of £2,500 per month for the next 3 months.

For smaller businesses with a turnover of less than £45m looking for up to £5m in finance. Business loans, overdrafts, invoice finance & asset finance available. First 12 months of interest and lender-levied fees covered.
