Application for a public entertainment licence under Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982, Section 41
This service lets you submit a form and its related documentation online.
You need a licence from Clackmannanshire Council for the use of premises as a place of public entertainment. This is a place where, on payment of money or money's worth, the public are admitted or may use the facilities for entertainment or recreation. Certain premises are exempt. Conditions may be imposed. Temporary licences are available.
Such a licence is not required in certain circumstances, eg for an athletic or sports ground being used for sports or athletic purposes or entertainment that is being provided on premises licensed under the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 during licensed hours.
The authority will charge a fee of £ 120.00 that you will pay online to process your application. The fee is the same whether you apply online or by post (businesslink.gov.uk or UK Welcomes do not charge an additional fee for online applications).
