Application to certify a regulated stand at a sports ground under Part III of the Fire Safety and Safety of Places of Sport Act 1987 (c.27)

This service lets you submit a form and its related documentation online.

If you operate a sports ground in Clackmannanshire which is not designated as requiring a safety certificate, you will still require a safety certificate for any covered stand that holds 500 or more spectators. It may be a general safety certificate for use of the stand to view specified activities indefinitely or a special safety certificate for use of the stand to view specified activities on specified occasions.

There is no fee for this application.

The following supporting documents are required and can be uploaded:

  • Location/site plan ( mandatory )
  • Risk assessment ( mandatory )
  • Contingency plans ( mandatory )
  • Safety policy for spectators ( mandatory )
  • Electrical certificate ( mandatory )

What files can be uploaded?

The following file types can be uploaded

Documents: DOC, PDF, TXT, XLS

Images: JPG, TIF, GIF, BMP, PNG

Video: MPG, AVI, WMV

CAD files: PDF, TIF, PLT

ZIP files are not accepted

Size limits

For a single file: 5MB

Combined size for all files for one application: 25MB
